Weekly Update: Back At It Again!

Finally feeling back to my normal self after a difficult two weeks suffering from a cold… I tried riding the week after picking up the cold, but could still feel something was there…

Last week consisted of a few threshold and tempo efforts which I felt fairly comfortable with. Sunday was supposed to be a 4 hour training ride but due to some cold/rainy weather and just getting over the cold, I wasn’t going to risk it, so opted to test my mental strength instead and did 2 hours on the indoor trainer watching both the Woman’s and Men’s Elite XCO World Cup races on Red Bull TV, which definitely helped with the session.

Looking forward to another big week this week, starting off with some strength/endurance testing followed by a few interval and tempo sessions and hopefully ending it all off with a long endurance group ride!
