This past weekend was yet another race weekend on the skinny wheels!
The week leading up to the weekend was quite a busy and demanding one with a few 2min and 5min intervals which left the legs feeling really tired, but the whole game plan was not to worry about results and to rather do whatever it took to make it a hard, fast paced race with the other boys in the front bunch. There were a few hairy moments which lead to some off road riding, getting pushed off the track from crashes and gutter riding, but all in all it was a good/fun race effort.
This week is all about the taper… I feel a lot healthier, fitter and stronger than before so all that is needed now is good legs and motivation to be at my best this weekend!
