With last week being a long weekend that meant only one thing… and that was the opportunity to squeeze in some longer rides!
Last week was a good training week for me clocking just over 13 hours of saddle time. I was quite happy to see that the legs held up pretty well with the extra saddle time and the extra kilometers! Just one more ‘long’ week of training before it’s show time!
The highlight of the weeks training has got to be the two 4+ hour rides with one being on the road bike out to Chappies and the other being on the MTB around Tygerberg MTB trails! Even though it’s a long day in the saddle, it’s always good fun sharing the pain with like minded buddies!
Another highlight for the week was that I finally received my sponsored race kit by Drip Drop SA, which I am very stoked with! I cant thank them enough for what they’ve done for me the past few months. Proud to be racing in their colours for the rest of the MTB season!
