Weekly Update: Intervals and Skills

Last week was yet another successful week of training ending it just shy of 10 hours over 237km’s. The body and legs feel good and the mindset is where it should be!

Wednesday’s session consisted of 4x 2min tempo hill reps followed by a few tempo efforts with two other training partners. #PainCave

Friday’s session took a lot out me, sitting on top of the hill feeling sick after 6x 10sec sprints followed by a short 5-6 min tempo effort with the training partner.

Saturday’s session was a bit more of a relaxed/LSD ride heading out to Duynefontein with the Cycle Teknix Social Cycling Club and then taking a cruise to Camps Bay for a coffee pit stop and back home.

Sunday was a day for some skills/play time around Bloemendal, getting used to the terrain and the technical sections for round threeΒ of WP XCO and WP XCO Champs. #ItsGoingToBeFast
